Hidden in the Disney Hotel is secret buffet called "Goofy’s Kitchen." Goofy is the owner of course. There’s an array of choices, mostly finger foods for the kids, and the characters all come out and talk to you every 15 minutes or so. You can pose and chit chat with at least 7 Disney characters. I personally think Goofy’s Kitchen is all about the entertainment. The food was alright, but it was definitely about taking all the photos with the Disney characters, and watching all the kids being easily amused with Goofy’s dancing. Dinner costs around $40 a person.

For lunch, I went to Best Thai and had the House Special Deluxe lunch special. It’s only $6.95 and comes with a soup or salad. Not a bad deal, and I had enough leftovers for a second meal. ;)
I also recommend the Spicy Mint Leaf dish, which is beef and mint leaves. It may be on the super spicy side though.

I had dinner at Pho Vinam. It was delicious and I was stuffed! I had a bowl of Pho, and my husband had the beef over broken rice. For dessert, we had a mango smoothie. Yummy!

The House Special Chicken is my favorite entree at Pick Up Stix. I also love adding the Mandarin Garden Side Salad on the side too! Get it with the Cilantro dressing!

I had these delicious strawberry pancakes for breakfast on my trip to Catalina Island. It was yum! The restaurant was very nice, but it was a little bit too busy. Getting our orders took a bit longer, but hey, what’s the rush? It’s island livin’!

Don’t worry! I didn’t eat it like this. This is the bowl of ’stuff’ that goes in our Japanese Pancakes, also known as Okonomiyaki. Cooking the Okonomiyaki was a lot of fun!

This is what it looks like when it’s done!

Oh yea, they have yummy desserts too!

My husband and I went to Great Khan’s at the Victoria Gardens Food Court last Saturday. And the food was yummy.

In a bowl, you put in all your favorite ingredients. And no, we’re not greedy… just getting our money’s worth. :)

And they cook it for you over this large grill.

And this is what it looks like after! :)

I went to Fresh Choice for the first time, and I LOVED it. It’s buffet with healthy food. heh The main course was salad, and they also had a bakery as well. Dinner cost about $9 a person… so I was trying to get my money’s worth. ;)
Banana chips and pickles are some of my favorite things. I never thought I’d put both in a salad before…. but what a combo! Mmmmm…
