My husband made udon for lunch today. Yum! It’s a Japanese soup with thick noodles.

This is my favorite thing to have for lunch — a full rosemary chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread from Baguette Bakery & Cafe. It’s a cute local restaurant, not too far from my workplace. And the food always is delicious. The bread is nice and freshly baked, and the soups are magnificent.
The desserts are all so appetizing too. I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookies and creme brulee. I haven’t had the chance to try every dessert yet, but I that will be my goal. :)

Don’t worry! I didn’t eat it like this. This is the bowl of ‘stuff’ that goes in our Japanese Pancakes, also known as Okonomiyaki. Cooking the Okonomiyaki was a lot of fun!

This is what it looks like when it’s done!

Oh yea, they have yummy desserts too!

This was my lunch at Kyoto Park. Yes… I actually ate all of it. :) It’s Tempura Ebi Udon.

My Lunch

My husband’s lunch
We took the Shinkansen (Japanese Bullet Train) to my husband’s family’s house in Osaka, Japan. There, we had our lunch. We bought two Bento Boxes. Everything in them were so good. I didn’t know what the half the stuff were. :)

I had Tempura Eel for dinner. This was in a small restaurant at the Tokyo Train station.

If you order Sho Cho (some type of alcohol) in Japan, it’s also served with raw squid. My husband didn’t want it.. so I ate it all up. Delicious!

Japan is known for their yummy soft cream ice creams! This one is a mix of green tea and sweet potato (I’m assuming taro?) Boy was it yummy! I got this near the temples of Kamakura, Japan.

My husband had the 3 soba special — somen, green tea soba, and buckwheat at a Soba House in Karmakura, Japan.

For dinner, I had Ebi Udon (Shrimp Udon). This was at a restaurant near our hotel in Japan. Look how big that prawn was. :)

I had yummy ramen in Harajuku, Tokyo, Japan. :)

Yoshinoya in Japan is very similar to the ones in the USA. But they give you tea with your meal. :) This was taken in Shiybuya, Tokyo, Japan.

In Japan, we stopped by this fancy dessert place in Ginza. This was what I ordered. Yum. :D
