Ebi Udon

Had dinner at a place called Super Sushi! The place has really good food and the prices are very reasonable. My favorite dish is always Ebi Udon. I also had a side of Spicy Tuna Rolls. All this was under $10.

Nabeyaki

This was my lunch. Nabeyaki Udon. Yum!

Natto Soba

Um.. Mmm? This is Natto Soba, my grandpa’s lunch. I’m not crazy about Natto.. are you?

Unagi

Had dinner at T.O.T. Restaurant tonight after the Anime Expo. Food was great. Especially this unagi bowl. Mmm!

Los Angeles, CA 90012

This is one of my favorite rolls, next to tuna! They’re unagi rolls. Mmm.. It’s from one of the best sushi places near me — Rokuan Restaurant. The food is great, and the prices are reasonable. The only things I don’t like about it is that groups of 6 or more is bad. There’s only one table for a big group. The lighting is also really dark inside. And kids aren’t really welcomed here.

Not only is it pretty, but it’s also quite yummy! This is a Caterpillar Roll which is also known as the Avocado Roll.

I had ramen for lunch today, and my tummy was quite happy! There’s a small Japanese restaurant in Rosemead, CA called Shin-sen-gumi Hakata Ramen, that just makes you feel like you’re visiting Japan. As you walk in, you’re greeted with “itashimasu” (welcome in Japanese) and then seated.

Today I got the Special Pork Flavored Noodle with a side of rice with grounded chicken bowl. Good stuff! My husband got ramen with a side order of gyozas. Noodle refill is only 95 cents. And the service is very fast and excellent.

My husband made udon for lunch today. Yum! It’s a Japanese soup with thick noodles.

Don’t worry! I didn’t eat it like this. This is the bowl of ’stuff’ that goes in our Japanese Pancakes, also known as Okonomiyaki. Cooking the Okonomiyaki was a lot of fun!

This is what it looks like when it’s done!

Oh yea, they have yummy desserts too!

My husband’s lunch

We took the Shinkansen (Japanese Bullet Train) to my husband’s family’s house in Osaka, Japan. There, we had our lunch. We bought two Bento Boxes. Everything in them were so good. I didn’t know what the half the stuff were. :)

Tempura Eel

I had Tempura Eel for dinner. This was in a small restaurant at the Tokyo Train station.

Raw Squid

If you order Sho Cho (some type of alcohol) in Japan, it’s also served with raw squid. My husband didn’t want it.. so I ate it all up. Delicious!

Soft Cream

Japan is known for their yummy soft cream ice creams! This one is a mix of green tea and sweet potato (I’m assuming taro?) Boy was it yummy! I got this near the temples of Kamakura, Japan.
