Here’s my dinner. Healthy huh? Yum!

Restaurant: Souplantation

Sashimi – Sliced premium quality Ahi with real wasabi root.

This is the best sashimi I’ve ever eaten. The fish is just like Jello! This fancy restaurant is a must-visit in Maui.

A new menu is printed out everyday with the name of the fishermen who caught the fish! It doesn’t get any fresher than that!

Restaurant: Mama’s Fish House
Location: Maui, Hawaii

While in Maui, we bought Rambutan from Costco. They were so sweet and good!!

My husband’s lunch

We took the Shinkansen (Japanese Bullet Train) to my husband’s family’s house in Osaka, Japan. There, we had our lunch. We bought two Bento Boxes. Everything in them were so good. I didn’t know what the half the stuff were. :)

Tempura Eel

I had Tempura Eel for dinner. This was in a small restaurant at the Tokyo Train station.

Raw Squid

If you order Sho Cho (some type of alcohol) in Japan, it’s also served with raw squid. My husband didn’t want it.. so I ate it all up. Delicious!

Soft Cream

Japan is known for their yummy soft cream ice creams! This one is a mix of green tea and sweet potato (I’m assuming taro?) Boy was it yummy! I got this near the temples of Kamakura, Japan.

Triple Soba

My husband had the 3 soba special — somen, green tea soba, and buckwheat at a Soba House in Karmakura, Japan.

Ebi Udon

For dinner, I had Ebi Udon (Shrimp Udon). This was at a restaurant near our hotel in Japan. Look how big that prawn was. :)

Ramen in Tokyo

I had yummy ramen in Harajuku, Tokyo, Japan. :)

Yoshinoya in Japan is very similar to the ones in the USA. But they give you tea with your meal. :) This was taken in Shiybuya, Tokyo, Japan.

In Japan, we stopped by this fancy dessert place in Ginza. This was what I ordered. Yum. :D

I went to Japan recently and had a wonderful time… especially eating all the different kinds of foods there! This one was one of my favorites. My husband and I went to Ueno Park and had lunch there at a nice cafe. He had curry chicken, and I had ebi (shrimp) tempura udon. Yum!
