Oh my what cute mini-cupcakes. We had them at a party we hosted last weekend.

I made this dish last weekend. There’s spanish rice, shredded beef, and avacado.
The spanish rice was fun to make, not to mention very easy! Here’s the receipe:
Cook rice.
In a frying pan, add oil, minced garlic, and onions.
Next add chopped tomatoes.
Wait til the onions are translucent, then add the rice and stir.
Slowly add half a can of chicken broth.
Then add in a can of tomato sauce.
Squeeze some fresh lime juice over the rice.
Cook until the broth is gone.
Then serve. :)
Add celantro to it if you like. Unfornately, I ran out. :(
For the avacados, add a bit of salt for flavor, although it’s not necessary.

This cake was fabulous! Very tasty! It was Jeff’s bday cake… happy bday jeff!

I went to McDonald’s 2 weeks ago on a Tuesday. I got the $1 sundae and 99 cents chicken nuggets. :)

There’s a new place called “Ono Hawaiian BBQ” near us, so we tried it last week. It was yummy! We got the chicken combo. I love Chicken Katsu!
It’s crispy breaded chicken fillets served with a special Ono Katsu sauce. Yum yum.

I love bean sprouts and cilantro!! Must add to every dish. heh My friend tells me it’s because I’m Vietnamese… =P

I cooked this for dinner last nite. It’s veggie soup — very simple to make.
First, cook rice. Second, in a pot, pour in two cans of chicken broth (you can use beef broth too). Have the heat on medium. Add in your veggies — potatoes, carrots, brocolli, cauliflower, tomatoes, green onions, and mushrooms. Cook for about 45minutes – 1 hour. Make sure the potatoes are cooked. Serve over rice. You can add raw bean sprouts and cilantro over the soup as well (not shown).

Sunday nite, we had dinner at Wahoo’s Fish Tacos. I ordered combo #1 – Enchilada with green sauce. Yummy.

I decided to try out Baja Fresh today. It was good! Here’s a closeup of my gucamole chips. :D

I cooked again tonight and made filet mignon w/red wine sauce, garlic, and onions.

Ever heard of fried ice cream? I haven’t until last night. It’s really cold ice cream that’s mixed in a batter, and quickly fried for a crispy taste. It’s very interesting. You have to try it when you get the chance to. Ming made this for us as well. :D

I had my first crepe yesterday! It was soooooooooo yummy!

I watched the lady make this ham and cheese crepe while I was eating dinner. It looks so interesting! She makes them so gracefully!
